Magic Resorts Philippines

Magic Island (7)

In the center of the Philippines, the Visayas, you will find the Magic Resorts. Two small-scale dive resorts with both
a fantastic house reef with steep walls and beautiful coral gardens inhabited by turtles and the most beautiful tropical fish. Yet Magic Island and Magic Oceans offer different diving experiences, so a combination trip is definitely recommended. For example, Anda Magic Oceans Resort, the newest resort that is known among divers for its versatile nudibranch scene, the muckdive places and the great diversity of critters. In Moalboal, Cebu you'll find Magic Island Resort, which is slightly smaller but famous for its huge school of sardines, the nearby Pescador Island: one of the top 10 most beautiful dive sites in the world and the unforgettable day trip to the whale sharks.

The Dutch owners Arie and Desiree will tell you all about Magic Resorts and the special diving opportunities during the Duikvaker diving fair.

Challenging dives and great excursions
Magic Island and Magic Oceans offer the same extraordinary Filipino hospitality, service, diving courses, a swimming pool and attractive, detached bungalows. In addition, they both have their own house reef with exceptionally colorful and healthy coral gardens.
Despite these similarities, both resorts offer unique aspects, both below and above water.
Cebu's waters are guaranteed to contain the largest friendly fish: the whale shark, but also hard and soft corals, sardines and special phenomena such as the mating of the mandarin fish. In addition, of course, Pescador with its small caves and beautiful reef walls is an unforgettable top diving location, just 15 minutes by boat from Magic Island. But the sunken Cessna Air plane on the bottom of the sea is also a must-see.
When you stay at Magic Oceans you can enjoy both the larger and the smallest organisms in the underwater world. The variety of nudibranch and critters are, despite being miniscule at times, not to be missed, but taking a detailed photo of the pygmy seahorse – pygmy seahorse – is one of the most special experiences. Magic Oceans is known for its smaller creatures, yet a stray whale shark here is not uncommon.

Combine both resorts and discover the diverse underwater world of the Philippines in the same atmospheric ambiance and with the same excellent service.

Although diving will never be boring, there is also a lot to do on land at Magic Island and Magic Oceans. Although Magic Oceans proudly bears the title of 5 star IDC dive resort and with this can offer diving a completely different dimension, you can also enjoy the beautiful, untouched Philippine nature. The well-known Kawasan waterfalls on Cebu are an excellent example of this. But Bohol also has its own unique nature with its own fauna. Look for the smallest monkey in the world: the tasier, or see the Chocolate Hills that stretch over an area of more than 50 km²! The Philippines is very beautiful, but Magic Resorts lets you experience it in an unforgettable way.
