Thalassa Dive Resort: a permanent fixture on the Duikvaker
Thalassa Dive Resort is one of the leading diving resorts in North Sulawesi, Indonesia. Thalassa Dive Resort and Simone have been a fixture at the Duikvaker, the largest diving show in the Netherlands, for many years.
This year, Thalassa Dive Resort will be present at the Duikvaker for the 32nd time. Thalassa has always had a stand at the fair, where visitors could first learn about the store in Amsterdam and (learning to) dive in the Netherlands, but since 1997 Thalassa Dive Resort has been there to provide information about its two resorts and the diving options in Indonesia. Since 2006, the stand has been shared with the Kehidupan Anda foundation, which is closely involved with the resort. This foundation helps children from the villages surrounding the resort to go to school and therefore receive a better education.
Thalassa Dive Resort is a popular destination for divers of all levels. The resort offers a wide range of diving options including relaxing dives in Bunaken National Park, the Lembeh Strait and the Bangka Archipelago led by experienced Divemasters and also offers all courses from beginner to instructor through the 5* PADI diving school. At the Duikvaker 2024 Thalassa Dive Resort will of course be present again. The resort has a stand in Hall 2, with a lot of information about the resort and the possibilities for diving in Indonesia, especially North Sulawesi. Thalassa Dive Resort will also give a presentation at the fair at 3:30 PM where 2 trips will be auctioned. The proceeds from this small auction will benefit the school in Indonesia for 100%.
