PADI: Professional Association of Diving Instructors®

Seek adventure Save the ocean®

PADI is the global leader in dive instruction, with over 6,600 PADI Dive Centers and Resorts. Collectively, they have more than 128,000 individual PADI professionals who have collectively awarded more than 28 million diving certifications. So you can take a PADI diving course almost anywhere.

In your own language and pace

The courses are supported by digital teaching materials available in 26 languages. Thanks to the PADI eLearning system, you can start your diving course anytime, anywhere. You follow the theory at your own pace, after which you start your practice at a PADI diving school or instructor.

The PADI system for diving courses is based on a course structure in which you as a student are always central. You will gradually be provided with skills, safety and knowledge about the local environment in several phases. PADI Professionals make underwater exploration and diving adventures possible by adhering to the highest standards of dive training, safety and customer focus.

Protection of the sea

As the largest dive educator, PADI is uniquely positioned to play a role in the global approach to a sustainable future. This is reflected in the company's mission and associated pillars of change. First, PADI is committed to protecting the sea through the AWARE Foundation and by partnering with Green Fins, among others. The second pillar is reducing the ecological footprint of the diving industry and finally PADI also stands for diversity and inclusivity. In the diving community people find each other regardless of social origin, ethnicity, philosophy or gender. Everyone is equal underwater.

In short, every reason to visit PADI on Duikvaker: The Dutch Dive Show. They are there together with leading PADI diving schools. Come and get to know the organization itself or get information from one of the diving schools on the stand about the different courses or how you can do it yourself. PADIA becomes an instructor.
