Holiday to Indonesia? Now is the time!

IMG

Lumbalumba Resort – Manado in Indonesia's North Sulawesi is all set for the arrival of diving and snorkelling enthusiasts. The resort is in fantastic condition and the staff is eager to welcome guests from all over the world again.

In the past 2 years almost no tourists have come to dive, except for a single local tourist. This is noticeable underwater. Pim (co-owner of Lumbalumba Resort) has done a number of dives in recent weeks, spread over the entire Bunaken National Park. He came back with fantastic stories. The fish stock is unbelievably good, better than he's ever seen in his 15 years of diving in Bunaken National Park. The shallow coral gardens are fantastic and there is more reef fish and life than ever.

Schools of fusiliers, triggerfish and butterflyfish layer the giant drop-offs. Turtles everywhere, really turtles everywhere. During the last dive in Lekuan 1, Pim and his son Noah counted 45 individuals. Yes, you read that right, 45 different turtles in one dive!

It is also clear to see that the coral gardens have had peace of mind in recent years. Empty spots are almost impossible to find in the coral reef, and where once there were broken pieces of coral, new and young corals can now be found. Hard and soft corals as far as the eye can see.

Go see all this beauty

So this is your chance to see Bunaken National Park at its best. Visit the Lumbalumba Resort stand on the Duikvaker and book your diving or snorkelling holiday with a fantastic discount.

Would you like to see more of North Sulawesi than just Bunaken National Park? Then they also offer combination trips with other resorts. Would you like to go to the Lembeh Strait? Then book a combination of Lumbalumba Resort and Black Sand Dive Retreat. Would you also like to dive around the island of Bangka? Then book a combination of Lumbalumba Resort and Pulisan Resort.

During the day Duikvaker: The Dutch Dive Show gives Pim van Lumbalumba Resort on Saturday and Sunday at 11.30 a presentation in Theater 1. That is the chance to see what beautiful North Sulawesi and Lumbalumba resort has to offer.
