Sea Yacht Red Sea Liveaboards started three years ago on a mission to provide environmentally conscious diving experiences in Egypt's beautiful Red Sea. The first liveaboard ship, the M/Y Seaduction, integrates several environmentally friendly practices. The second ship, the M/Y Seaducer, is scheduled for launch in 2025 and will also focus on sustainable initiatives.

M/Y Seaduction: Innovation in Sustainability on Board

The M/Y Seaduction uses 12 solar panels. This reduces reliance on diesel generators and offers guests “quiet hours” free from engine noise.; the use of single-use plastics has been eliminated, replaced with reusable alternatives for improved sustainability.

Environmentally Conscious Water Management and Small Diving Groups

The installation of an onboard desalination plant, which provides clean water through an extensive filtration process, eliminates the need for plastic water containers and 5-gallon bottles. The commitment to small dive groups (6-9 divers per group of up to 18 guests) emphasizes a personalized experience while protecting the environment.

Future Plans: The Launch of M/Y Seaducer

Guests aboard the M/Y Seaduction enjoy locally sourced, eco-friendly soaps and have access to “reef-safe” products. Sea Yacht Red Sea Liveaboards looks to the future with the launch of the M/Y Seaducer, its second environmentally conscious liveaboard vessel. Exploring alternative energy sources such as wind turbines and tidal energy reflects a progressive trend in the diving industry towards environmentally responsible practices.

Both the M/Y Seaduction and the soon to be launched M/Y Seaducer offer, for those seeking unforgettable diving and kiting experiences with an eye for environmental awareness, both individual bookings and full charters with a range of routes throughout the Red Sea.
