We are very excited to announce freedive instructor Nanja van den Broek as a speaker at Duikvaker 2024. Coming face to face with a sperm whale in the Azores, diving to a depth of 130 meters in one breath, she has experienced it all.

About Nanja's passion for freediving, she said: “I was amazed that you can do so much more than you think. This gives a nice boost in your confidence. I also enjoy being able to get into the water with reasonable basic equipment. The animals are not that scared of you because you are quieter than with compressed air and the first 10 meters of a reef are often the most beautiful.”
