Impian divers is a medium sized dive school, IDD Nederland Dive Academy / Instructor Training center on Koh Tao, Thailand, a dive destination known as 'dive island'. 

They are mainly focused on the Dutch divers who visit Koh Tao. That is why they only employ permanent Dutch-speaking diving staff. In addition to a beautiful dive shop, they also own their own boat, which they do not share with other diving schools, in order to guarantee the personal identity of the diving school.

Impian Divers is officially registered with the Thai Chamber of Commerce and the Thai Marine Inspectorate. Boat and passengers are insured, just like the diving school is insured for their activities with Bangkok Insurance Thailand. So they are not a local booking agent for other diving schools.

Since their foundation in 2006, they have been named dive center of the month by the diving magazine Duiken twice. We also have a nice mention in the Dominicus Travel Guide for Thailand and in the Moon Travel guide. PADI has awarded them a 'PADI Excellence Award' and they are the only ones on Koh Tao to be positively mentioned in PADI's monthly magazine, the Underwater Sea Journal.

Koh Tao may be less suitable for the more experienced Red Sea divers, but it is extremely suitable and well known for beginners divers or those who would like to gain their first diving experiences in the tropical. They start diving courses daily and supervise certified divers, in groups never larger than 4 persons per dive leader. In addition, they give their divers 1 hour of diving time and they can use very well-maintained diving equipment for free. Every day they visit as many different dive sites as possible around Koh Tao, weather conditions allowed of course.

As a dive center they attach great importance to the personal relationship with their customers. During the diving activities they keep the safety standards high, but without taking away the holiday feeling of the divers. The dive school is linked to a number of resorts on Koh Tao so they can serve this aspect as well.
