Wreck diving for beginners
Inspiration, information and interaction – that's what it's all about at the Theme Tables on the DuikeninBeeld stand. Would you like to explore wrecks in shallower and deeper water? What are the do's and don'ts? Cees den Toom will take you along.
Wreck diving – a sport in itself. Anyone who dives in Vinkeveen has almost certainly been on the bus. In Zeeland, divers can hardly miss the shallow wrecks at Scharendijke. And on Bonaire you may have been to the Hilma Hooker and maybe you dream of diving the war wrecks in the North Sea as well. Of course you have to know what you are doing, and training is a must. Whether that is a wreck diving specialty or an advanced wreck diver training course depends on the wrecks you want to dive on.
Cees den Toom of Scuba-Academie has a lot of experience with wreck diving – from shallow to very deep water. At the Theme Table, he will take you on his wreck diving adventures, but will also tell you what it takes to get started with wreck diving: the training, the materials used, the wrecks open to you and how to get a new one every time. one step further. You can fire your questions at him, but you can also sit down and share your wreck diving experiences with the others. Even if you're not sure if it's for you, join us!
