Maassluis – SeaLife introduces the new compact and lightweight underwater housing for Apple iPhones and Android Smartphones. Thanks to the new SeaLife SportDiver housing, divers, snorkelers and swimmers can take photos and videos with their Smartphone to a depth of 40 meters.

Suitable for:

The SportDiver can be used in combination with all iPhones from model 7 and the most current Androis smartphones.

Durable:

The robust housing is made of polycarbonate, stainless steel, aluminum and optical grade glass. And while the SportDiver case is "Heavy Duty", it's not heavy, it weighs just 641 grams. It is lightweight for travel and is nearly neutral in water depending on which model of Smartphone is used.

Smartphone as a creative photo camera:

The SportDiver is firm to hold and easy to use. It has a large shutter button and accessible controls on the back for easy operation, even with diving gloves on. Creative snorkelers and divers can use the optional advanced settings of the camera app to take their photos or videos. Such as: zoom, exposure (EV), auto/manual focus, white balance, color tint, lens selection, RAW + JPEG mode, live photo and background blur (on available iPhone models).

No risk, double safety:

Phone safety above all else! The SportDiver has a DOUBLE LEAK ALARM, including an internal moisture alarm and a vacuum pressure alarm, which warns you with an on-screen display, an audio and an LED signal in the unlikely event that the housing should show some form of leakage and a leak occurs. moisture is detected in the housing or if there is a loss of pressure in the housing. With the included vacuum pump, you can vacuum the housing at a negative pressure. The built-in pressure gauge in the housing provides a display on the screen of the IPhone to ensure that you bring the housing to the correct negative pressure. Then you have to wait a little while until the vacuum system indicates that no pressure change has taken place and so you know that you can take the set underwater with confidence. The housing is sealed with a TPE O-ring and a robust cam-lock sealing bolt, which closes the watertight door easily and securely. To prevent the inside of the housing from fogging up due to humidity, it is recommended to use the anti-fog capsule “Moisture Muncher” to minimize the humidity and thus prevent internal condensation as much as possible.

Free SportDiver App:

The SportDiver housing is used in conjunction with the free SeaLife SportDiver camera app <App: SportDiver> (Unlike other smartphone housing apps, there are no annoying in-app purchases or ads). You can easily switch between photo and video mode.
