Sacha Lobenstein is a Canarian underwater photographer, born on the island of Tenerife. He has participated in major underwater photography championships and won titles such as Champion of Spain and the Canary Islands. He has won several awards, including the National Geographic H2Ocean Contest, Spain's First National Biodiversity Festival, Open Fotosub El Hierro and Open Fotosub Lanzarote Mar de Lava. He regularly contributes to publications such as diving guides, tourist guides, research papers, doctoral dissertations and specialized magazines and covers on diving and underwater photography, and to exhibitions such as NaturaJazz at the Tenerife Museum of Nature and Man. He is co-author of the Canary Islands Fishing Guide, a guide with photographs, texts and illustrations of the main 202 fish species that live between 0-50 m deep on the Canary coasts.
