Flip is director and owner of Merapi Tour & Travel. His passion for Indonesia arose in 1993 during a roots trip to Java, the island where his parents were born and raised. In 2009 he took over the current Merapi and developed it as the Indonesian travel and diving specialist. His favorite diving destination: Pulau Alor in the far east of the Lesser Sunda Islands.
