Ocean Reef launches communication system for ARIA snorkel masks
Groundbreaking! Following the successful introduction of the ARIA full face mask for snorkelling, OCEAN REEF now introduces an obvious accessory: the Snorkie-Talkie communication system.
Communicating while snorkeling or from shore or boat with snorkelers is now very easy! The communication system for the ARIA is a radio frequency based system like a normal walkie-talkie and has four available channels, which are the same as the existing channels for walkie-talkies. The system has a range of approximately 300 meters and is waterproof to a maximum of 3 meters.
The speaker and push-to-talk button in one can be worn on either the left or right side of the head. The user can adjust the volume himself. The unit runs on a rechargeable lithium battery with an average operating time of 8 hours. The battery can be recharged in 8 hours using the USB cable. The voltage of the rechargeable battery is visible.
The system is designed exclusively for use with an OCEAN REEF ARIA snorkel mask and easily attaches to the snorkel.
The introductory price of an ARIA Snorkel Mask with Snorkie-Talkie system is 155 euros. Available from the end of January 2018 through OCEAN REEF dealers.
