Nauticam Super Macro Converter I (SMC)

smc2

With a magnification of no less than 2.3X (on a full-frame camera), this unique and innovative lens will completely change the way we shoot underwater macro!!

Just like with their underwater housings, Nauticam strives for perfection with this lens. Edward Lai , Managing Director of Nauticam spent hundreds of hours creating the perfect conversion lens. By means of complex computer calculations and the use of high-quality glass, he has succeeded in developing a lens with the best optical properties imaginable.

The magnification is unprecedented. There is currently no other macro conversion lens comparable to the Nauticam SMC. Better image quality, higher contrast and less chromatic aberration.

According to Dr. Alex Mustard this is the sharpest and most powerful macro conversion lens he has ever used!

“This is the sharpest conversion macro lens I've ever used. Something that is remarkable because it is also the strongest macro lens currently available. The results are fantastic. Both in the center of the photo and in the corners are razor sharp. The Nauticam Super Macro converter pushes the boundaries, enabling you to take different and even better macro photos. ”
