International Academy of Diving Schools (IADS)

logo IADS color

The IADS is a diving organization founded in 1982. The founders are independent instructors who have developed great knowledge and skills in diving for many years and who have already earned their spurs in diving at home and abroad.

So… an ORGANIZATION FOR and THE DIVERS.

The IADS was founded from professional diving and has developed into a professional recreational diving organization. There is still close cooperation with the professional diving world. The diving instructors, trained and supervised by IADS, meet all training requirements that a diving organization can set itself. They pride themselves on the short lines of communication with their instructors, Divemasters and members. Their strength lies in the human connection.

Diving is for everyone

Anyone can learn to dive from 7 years old. From young to old you can enjoy the beautiful underwater world in the Netherlands or abroad. Training courses are easily accessible and offer them at all levels. There are career opportunities from snorkel diver to instructor or even examiner!

Skills book

During the lessons, the Skills book is used, they have recently completely updated this book. This book contains all skills from Open Water Diver to Assistant Instructor.

Dive safe in harmony with nature

Sports diving is a fantastic sport. You can enjoy the beautiful underwater life. Enjoying a small snail to a seahorse in the Netherlands. Abroad of the colorful coral reefs.

IADS believes it is very important that the oceans, seas, lakes and rivers are protected.

In their training, attention is paid to nature conservation and ecology.

The skills are developed in such a way that underwater life is taken into account.
