Divers more 2019 – Bigger than ever!

Duikvaker, the event for every diver and snorkeler on February 1, 2 and 3, is bigger than ever – more floor space, more exhibitors and even more experience! 

In the 27 years of its existence, the diving event, which kicks off the new diving season, has never been this big. Thanks to the renovation of Expo Houten, there is more floor space available for companies and organizations in the diving industry and of course more space for theaters and food courts – the experience!

"Happy!" says organizer Patrick van Brienen. «Because never before has the diving industry been so massively interested in participating in Duikvaker. Thanks to the major renovation of Expo Houten, there is enough space for everyone. But it doesn't matter if Duikvaker jumps at the seams!» 

Many new destinations
If you are looking for a diving trip, Duikvaker has come to the right place. The travel sector is well represented and new destinations such as Palau and the Bahamas are also presenting themselves. «It is striking that Egypt as a diving and snorkeling destination is fully alive again,» says Patrick van Brienen. «You can see the Red Sea not only on the stands of the diving travel organizations, but a large number of Egyptian diving centers are also on Duikvaker themselves.» This year, more diving centers from Indonesia are also coming to the diving event and traditionally, the Caribbean square is swinging and bustling.Novelties
Do you want to know what's new in diving? You see it on Duikvaker. The brands present their (new) products for the coming season. Products that make diving and snorkeling even more fun, more comfortable and safer. From dive computers to underwater communication for snorkelers, from dry suits to the lightest travel jackets, from diving masks to underwater scooters, you'll find it on Duikvaker.

Info and entertainment
During Duikvaker, your diving senses will be stimulated! At the large stage in Hall 2 you will meet special divers, adventurers, dive entrepreneurs, photographers and videographers and you can participate in the National Diving Safety Test 2019. In the smaller theaters you will be seduced in a more intimate setting with beautiful diving destinations, innovative products and the most beautiful images from all corners of the underwater world. You can follow workshops, sit down at theme tables or meet up with diving friends. 

Good food and drink
New at Duikvaker are the food courts spread over the fair where you can enjoy tasty snacks and drinks throughout the day. Where you can meet up with diving friends and make plans for your next diving trip. Where you can catch your breath from all the impressions you gain on the greatest Diver ever!
