CORONACHECK Update November 15

Corona admission ticket for catering, events and other activities

As of Saturday, November 6, 2021, a corona ticket is required to visit trade fairs, conferences and meetings at Expo Houten. Everyone aged 13 and older needs a corona ticket. To gain access to the location, the organization must scan the corona admission ticket and compare the visitor's identity card with the data from the scan.

Visitors can use the corona ticket in three ways show via CoronaCheck.

An vaccination certificate; or
An proof of recovery; or
An negative test result through testing for access.
Wearing a face mask is not mandatory. It is important that everyone continues to follow the basic rules, whether or not you are vaccinated. The better we do this together, the less the virus can spread and the less restrictive measures will be needed. The basic rules demonstrably help to prevent contamination.

The basic rules are understood to mean:

  • Testing in case of complaints: stay at home and have yourself tested at the GGD. Even if you have already been vaccinated.
  • If the test is positive: stay at home and avoid contact with others, even if they have been vaccinated.
  • 1.5 meters is a safe distance. Protect yourself and others.
  • Don't shake hands.
  • Wash your hands often and thoroughly.
  • Cough and sneeze into your elbow.

Why do I have to use a corona ticket?

The Exhibition Company is looking forward to organizing Duikvaker. The safety of our visitors, exhibitors and employees is extremely important to us.
We are obliged to check everyone who wants to enter the fair for a corona admission ticket. In addition to being an obligation, we also believe that this is an important step in bringing exhibitors and visitors together safely without a 1.5 meter measure.

What should I bring to Duikvaker?
  • Phone with the CoronaCheck app and your loaded test, vaccination or recovery certificate.
  • Valid proof of identity, it is mandatory to identify yourself at the entrance to check the CoronaCheck app.
  • Your ticket, printed out or on your phone.
  • Possibly a mouth cap. This is not mandatory, by the way.
Do I have to keep a distance of 1.5 meters during Duikvaker?

No, keeping 1,5 meters away is not necessary when we use corona tickets. So it is not mandatory. Despite this, we ensure that the aisles are wide enough to pass each other. In addition, we ask our visitors to give each other space.

I don't have a smartphone. Can I also show a corona admission ticket in another way?

If you do not have a smartphone or prefer to have the corona admission ticket on paper, you can also print the corona admission ticket yourself via the website CoronaCheck.nl.

Does the yellow booklet also count as a corona ticket?

Can international visitors visit the fair?

International visitors who want to visit Duikvaker are also asked for a corona admission ticket, namely an EU Digital Corona Certificate (EU DCC). Visitors from the United Kingdom (UK) can have the QR code from the NHS Covid-19 app scanned.
