Experience Duikvaker 2025 with the NOB: Activities for young and old!
Also this year the Dutch Underwater Sports Association (NOB) will be present at Duikvaker with a large number of activities for young and old. Whether you are an experienced diver, enjoy snorkeling or are just starting your underwater adventure, there is plenty to do at the NOB stand (1d08)!
Especially for children up to 14 years old, the NOB is organizing the Diving Expedition again. With an Expedition Guide in hand, the youngest visitors can participate in an exciting treasure hunt across the exhibition floor. Collect stickers, solve puzzles and complete assignments - at the end, a nice reward awaits at the NOB stand. Organizations such as Bonaire Island, Dive and Travel, DuikeninBeeld, PADI, and more are participating in this expedition. Make sure you are there, both on Saturday and Sunday!
On Saturday morning at 10:30 the NOB organizes a cozy coffee moment for youth associations at their stand. During this meeting the year is kicked off, new snorkeling diplomas are discussed and the new mascots are introduced. All registered associations also receive a nice gift.
On Saturday afternoon, the special underwater sports of the NOB are central. Underwater hockey, underwater rugby, fin swimming and free diving are presented, and visitors get the chance to learn more about these unique sports.
On Sunday morning at 10:30 all NOB instructors are invited to a get-together at the NOB stand. There will be talks about new specializations and developments, and there will be a nice gift ready for each instructor.
On Sunday afternoon at 13:30 the NOB organizes an interactive quiz about material safety. From tap-bottle combinations to AEDs and RI&Es - test your knowledge and contribute to an even safer diving sport!

The Dutch Underwater Sports Association (NOB) is the organization for everyone who wants to delve deeper into the Dutch underwater world and stands up for the interests of divers in the Netherlands. The NOB focuses on promoting diving in the Netherlands and offers support to over 250 diving clubs. In addition to diving, the NOB also focuses on underwater sports, such as fin swimming, underwater hockey, free diving and snorkeling.
The NOB facilitates training for both beginners and experienced divers. Members can follow various specializations, such as wreck diving, underwater biology and dry suit diving. In addition to offering insurance for clubs, the NOB offers advice and support in association matters.
With a NOB4U membership of €57.90 per year, divers gain access to valuable resources and a network of like-minded enthusiasts, enriching and facilitating the diving experience in the Netherlands. Members receive the magazine Onderwatersport in their mailbox six times a year, gain access to exclusive events and are well insured underwater with the diving insurance.
